We had the best dinner experience here. Food, service, atmosphere.. I would give 10 out of 5 if I had a chance! Julianna was the kindest and sweetest server. They also surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake for our anniversary. Leaving very happy and will definitely come back!

Came for dinner on a Saturday night, servers were polite and helpful with the menu. Bonus points that they have a sommelier. Everything we ate was delicious- especially enjoyed their burrata appetizer which was a special of the day. Pastas were amazing, and the cauliflower was a unique dish served with pepperoni and a lemon sauce- highly recommend this as a side!

Excellent selection of Creekstone Farms steaks. I ordered the 45-day dry aged ribeye and it was perfect! Highly recommend. Our server Cameron was very personable and attentive!

One of the best Italian places I’ve been to across many countries. The pork chop is well cooked and really tender. The tiramisu is a must, it doesn’t have rum but the coffee flavor is really strong. The server was really cool too. 10/10 experience

When they opened we lived down the street and it was a frequent stop. Been a few years but we went back for dinner and had a wonderful night. The food was fantastic, service on point, and we scored a great table on the terrace. The kitchen staff delivered plate after plate of amazing food. Loved my Fra Diavolo as it was just the right balance of hot but not overpowering sauce! My son's Steak Frites was also perfectly marinated and grilled. The meal brought back some great memories of the early days in the West Loop. Bravo Formeto's you are not resting on your laurels. You still bring a first class dining experience. If you are on the fence make that reservation! You will not be disappointed.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while we were in West Loop area the week before. Saw the reviews and the atmosphere looked interesting to try. It did not disappoint. Great vibe and everything we ordered were as perfect as can be. Squid ink pasta was just superb with taste and texture. Pork chops were grilled to perfection. Even burrata cheese appetizer was just what we had hoped it would be. Love this place. We will have to bring our family back next time.

Italian foods are some of my favorite meals and there are plenty of great ones in the Chicagoland, so when you are in the Randolph corridor in the heart of the West Loop, it has to be spectactular. This place was exactly what I was expecting. The ambiance of rich dark wood and low lighting is typical but here its vibrant. From the greeter to the bar to server; the staff was friendly and accomodating. Definitely a perfect spot for solo dining, date night and group meals. Started with the whipped ricotta with figs, pistachio, dukkah and hot honey, served with toasted sourdough. This was an excellent beginning to the meal that was sweet, creamy and crunchy. Practically licked the plate clean. However, the bucatini carbonara with crispy & fatty pancetta was excellent. The egg yolk topping was mixed well into the pasta and added a nice creaminess. This place was excellent and will need to try their other pasta dishes and antipasti!!
